This Trust is a registered charity endorsed as a Deductible Gift Recipient (DGR). The principal activity of the Trust is the promotion of the prevention or the control of behaviour that is harmful or abusive to human beings* as described in item 4.1.4 of the table in subsection 30-45(1) of the Income Tax Assessment Act 1997, and the Trust maintains a gift fund in accordance with section 30-130 of that Act.
Donations to the Women's Forum Australia Harm Prevention Charity Gift Fund are held separately from other Trust Funds and used only for harm-prevention activities.
The Women's Forum Australia Harm Prevention Charitable Trust's gift fund does not act as a mere conduit for the donation of money or property to other organisations, bodies or persons.
The Gift Fund is administered by the Trustee of the Trust, Women's Forum Australia Ltd (ACN 115 589 225), a company limited by guarantee under the terms of the Women's Forum Australia Harm Prevention Charitable Trust Deed.
